Release Notes

This release contains all the functionality available in PHP Manager 1.1.2 for IIS 7 plus the following additions:
  • Command Line Support via PowerShell - now it is possible to manage and script PHP installations on IIS by using Windows PowerShell. More information is available at Managing PHP installations with PHP Manager command line.
  • Detection and alert when using local PHP handler - if a web site or a directory has a local copy of PHP handler mapping then the configuration changes made on upper configuration levels will not take effect on that site or directory. PHP Manager detects this situation and alerts user that this may be a problem.
  • French translation - the translation is provided by Emmanuel Boersma and Sylvain Lecerf.
Also a few bug fixes were made in this release (see change list for more details).

Pure sugar. Fixed my PHP issues in seconds, and was easy to use. Reading online, the solution was looking daunting and complex. Something sys admins should handle, not devs running localhost apps only. This probably saved me 24 man hours, on learing something I likely would never have used again. PHP Manager to the rescue. Now I can get back to my work.

Facilitates streamlined PHP mgt nicely within IIS 7, 7.5, and 8. It is an especially nice touch to be able to enable/disable PHP extensions and to view phpinfo() output within IIS.
